Released older this month, Stephen King’s new novel Fairy Tale is the latest to get the version treatment! Deadline reports that a mucosa version is on the way, with Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy, Captain Phillips) set to adapt, direct, and produce.
According to publisher Simon & Schuster, in Fairy Tale “Legendary storyteller Stephen King goes into the deepest well of his imagination in this spellbinding novel well-nigh a seventeen-year-old boy who inherits the keys to a parallel world where good and evil are at war, and the stakes could not be higher—for that world or ours.”
“Needless to say, I’m a Paul Greengrass fan and think he’s a wonderful nomination for this film,” King told Deadline.
“Fairy Tale is a work of genius,” Greengrass told the site. “A archetype venture story and moreover a torturous trendy allegory.”
