A trademark new trailer for Hocus Pocus 2, the heavily hyped sequel to the archetype Halloween film, was recently unveiled at Disney’s presentation at the D23 Expo. The trailer delves into the backstories of the three main characters, Winifred (Bette Midler), Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker), and Mary (Kathy Najimy), all of whom towards to have received their initial training from a very witchy Hannah Waddingham.
The preview begins with a squint at the three notation when they were teenagers and had just been expelled from Salem. In the forest, they meet Hannah Waddingham, played by Ted Lasso, who plays a fantastic witch who leads them lanugo the path to visionless magic.
In wing to Parker’s immortal chanting of the word “Amok!” the trailer features a recognizable woebegone cat, a whirligig of salt, and a couple of flying Roombas from the original 1993 film.
The second installment of “Hocus Pocus” will debut on Disney on September 30.
