Pixar have just revealed a new movie they’re working on for 2023: Elemental.
Elemental is set to release on June 16 2023, scrutinizingly exactly a year without Lightyear‘s June 17 2022 release date. It is directed by Peter Sohn (director of The Good Dinosaur, Partly Cloudy; voice of Squishy, Emile, Sox) and produced by Denise Ream (Cars 2, The Good Dinosaur). Check out our first squint at its concept art below!

Elemental will take place in a world where the four elements (fire, water, air and land) live together. Protagonists Ember, ‘a zesty young woman’, and Wade, ‘a go-with-the-flow guy’, are an unlikely pair that discover they may have increasingly in worldwide than first thought.
If you squint in the preliminaries of the concept art, you can see the ‘air’ and ‘land’ municipality residents. And squint at Ember and Wade’s fiery/watery footsteps!
It’s easy to make firsthand comparisons whenever a Pixar movie is first revealed. But let’s hold off until we learn increasingly well-nigh Pixar’s next adventure! Every Pixar movie ends up stuff its own unique thing, and we can’t wait to see what direction this new movie takes.
