The drama-action film Back in Action, which stars Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx, will be released in January 2025.
After filming Back in Action, Cameron Diaz briefly gave the impression that she was about to leave Hollywood for the second time, but it appears that she has now changed her mind. Instead of going back to a "normal" family life, which is what she previously left Hollywood to accomplish, Diaz has lately been linked to two thrilling film comebacks.
It was announced back in March that Diaz and Keanu Reeves will be working together for the first time since their 1996 film Feeling Minnesota in Jonah Hill's dark comedy Outcome. In the movie, Reeves plays a former movie star who gets blackmailed with an enigmatic video footage from his past, forcing him to face his past. Fans of the pair's last film are naturally excited to see if they can still generate a magical spark on screen, even if no information has been provided on Diaz's involvement in the film.
More recently, in July, it was revealed that the whole principal cast will likely return for the upcoming fifth Shrek film. Diaz will return to her role as Princess Fiona, which she voiced for the first time in 2001. Although Shrek Forever After was released fourteen years ago, it is maybe not surprising that Shrek has joined the list of animated sequels in the works, given the number of well-known brands returning to the pool for more Back in Action.
